WAYWORD FORWORD TOO is a new exhibition from Collective Effort Press, featuring the work of visual poets thalia and Sandy Caldow. Thalia and Caldow have developed substantial visual poetry practices since the 1970s and 80s, respectively. In the context of increasing international interest in women’s visual poetry, this exhibition showcases two practices that are both feminine but patently different.

Negative Press and Keeper Print Room are thrilled to present this exhibition, which has been organised by the artists and a host of friends and peers.

We are especially grateful to Emily Floyd () for designing this gorgeous poster (based on Caldow's 'Bird [poem]', 2025), π.ο. for designing the exhibition catalogue and Ella Skilbeck-Porter () for the catalogue essays.

More exciting announcements to come, but mark your 📆 for the opening, which will feature performances and readings from Collective Effort.

Yesterday's launch of Unusual Work issue #40 was fabulous with performances that explored the breadth and depth of poetry's. Thanks to the poets, and to all who attended (despite the torrential rain), and to our wonderful hosts at The Celtic Club.

It turned out to be a great night last night for Gabrielle Everall's launch of her book titled Venus Without Furs, despite the venue being changed at the last minute, and moving three doors away to The Shady Lady bar, 36 Johnston St Fitzroy. MC'd by the fabulous Michael Reynolds and launched in a very entertaining manner by the wonderful Claire Gaskin. It was a great event for a great book. An instant classic
