Far Out Films is a film collective that makes children's content and facilitates kids making films. We have shot short films, youtube content and television. With our mentoring, our kids have shot short films that have been accepted into some of the world's most prestigious film competitions and festivals, including Tropfest Australia and CICFF. Our kids have won awards for their craft and it give

s us a bit of a buzz to help the next generation of filmmakers. Although we are based in Melbourne, our films have been shown in festivals in Asia, Canada and extensively throughout the US, as well as down under. A collection of our short films is regularly shown for free over the Big Screens at Federation Square (Melbourne) and The Concourse (Sydney), so check them out when you're in town! Calling all budding filmmakers and enthusiasts: NPS MedicineWise and American Express Openair Cinemas are hosting , a national 30-second short film competition to deliver a critical message about the global threat of antibiotic resistance.

Shortlisted films will be aired at American Express Openair Cinemas cinema locations across Australia. Two first-place winners will be awarded prizes of $5000.

In the awesome Hothouse Studios St Kilda working with music producer Craig Harnath (ex Kids in the Kitchen), the stellar Paul Kaspar and Cat Warren. We are recording a track to be used for a music video that will be one of Cat's 2016 ACS awards entries.

Did you just love watching "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" (1998) as much as we did? This movie stars Drew Barrymore, Anjelica Huston and Dougray Scott (amongst a stellar cast of actors).
