We are very proud to have organised the upcoming European Slaughter tour to celebrate Persecution's 40th Anniversary together with our bands Thallium & Blame Your Gods.
There has been a bit of misinformation circulating in Europe about the band's political ideology (Of which they have none)
Here is the band's official statement concerning these issues
"Official Statement from Persecution
Persecution has recently been made aware of questions raised by some European venues & organisations, regarding our past association with a music promoter, who briefly played drums for the band many years ago.
We want to be absolutely clear: Persecution has never supported, nor will we ever support, any form of Neo-Nazi ideology, racism, or hate in any capacity.
Our music, our message, and our identity have nothing to do with such beliefs.
We categorically reject them.
The actions, views, or associations of any former member outside of Persecution do not reflect who we are as a band or as individuals.
Persecution was built on passion for thrash metal and the unifying power of music. We stand with our fans of all backgrounds who share that love, and we remain committed to creating music that unites—not divides."
