What happens when a safety barrier does its job too well?
After building barriers to keep our slot cars on the track, I discovered a small problem… I couldn't actually see the cars anymore. 😂
So this time we're tackling the bridge at La Brèche and building something a little different: a transparent polycarbonate barrier designed to keep the cars protected without hiding the action.
There’s measuring, cutting, drilling, questionable engineering decisions, a drop saw that definitely had its own agenda, and a bit of CraftMaster magic to turn a sheet of boring clear plastic into something that actually looks like glass.
And yes… we finally get to see the Slot Cars vs Physics challenge through the new barrier.
