Check out a timelapse we shot for Jetstar revealing a new “Flying with Pride” livery.

THE CHALLENGE -> A dynamic aviation schedule + needing to estimate with hanger crew where the aircraft would land in frame + tight turn around!

THE SOLUTION -> Multiple timelapse cameras installed early, remotely monitored by camera crew to make sure correct exposure and constantly uploading files to the studio for near-instant processing meant we could capture and deliver quickly with confidence.

BEHIND THE SCENES - CAR RIG SETUP

We love to get the camera close to the action!

On the bonnet (or through the side windows). Let's go!

The camera can safely sit on this rig and be driven around for very dynamic shots on controlled roads.

A little camera shake is good! It's real! This is achieved by having the camera fixed to the same plane as the vehicle.

What makes a good piece to camera? Easy as ABC.

BREAKDOWN:
1 - A nicely composed frame/backdrop that tells the story and sets the scene for the dialogue
2 - Big teleprompter to make dialogue recall easier for the speaker/presenter
3 - Create a strong well worded message. Short and concise. Use someone great to deliver it.

Add some pre production time to organise the logistics and you've got the recipe for an engaging and on point 🫵 piece to camera. 🎬

UPDATE - Camera Fleet Expanded!

We’ve invested in longer telephoto lenses (good for nature, wildlife, sporting, transport and lots more), a modified camera gimbal so we can run more cinematic lenses while we shoot and a whole new A-camera that’s versatile for documentary style capture.

You’ll see these cameras on our jobs and more importantly a further increase in visual quality in our work.
