Warming up for the legend EVIL OIL MAN this weekend, we’re proud to welcome MORA — one of Australia’s most captivating producers in the progressive and psychedelic techno realm.

Sebastian Mora-Evans better known as MORA, is a distinguished music producer and pianist whose lifelong dedication to sound translates into deeply immersive performances. His compositions merge melodic maturity with driving bush prog and hypnotic techno rhythms.

A key figure in Australia’s underground scene, MORA has performed at festivals such as Earth Frequency, Wild Horses, and countless club events including Zenon Records showcases, Capture Experience and Synaesthetics — earning recognition for his musical depth and dynamic range.

With releases on Zenon Records, Universal Tribe, Synaesthetics, Frisson, Recovery Collective and Digital Structures, MORA’s sound stands as a testament to his refined artistry — weaving piano-driven emotion into forward-thinking electronic storytelling.

Amsterdam-based producer Alex Sharp returns to the label for our 141st release to unveil his latest project, the Kaval Sviri EP – a mesmerising fusion of melodic techno and Bulgarian folklore.

This evocative collection consists of two originals, the title 'Kaval Sviri' and 'Avante Mori' alongside a striking remix of the by the emerging Austrian techno producer Mike Pipes.

'Kaval Sviri,' meaning 'The Flute Plays,' is inspired by a Bulgarian folk tale centered on a shepherd's flute and a story of love and longing. Alex preserves the haunting beauty of the traditional melody while reimagining it through the lens of modern techno, blending hypnotic beats with poignant cultural storytelling.

'Avante Mori' further extends the folkloric inspiration, weaving intricate soundscapes that bridge past and present.

Adding a dynamic plot-twist, Mike Pipes' remix of 'Kaval Sviri' transforms the track into a peak-time anthem, enhancing its energy while respecting its roots. The full 3-track EP is both a tribute to tradition and an invitation to experience dance music as a vessel for storytelling.
