✨ Where is Ellie’s Hair? Written by .aus is a touching story created for a little girl learning to cope with a big change in her life.

💛 All profits go directly towards supporting Ellie’s journey and childhood cancer charities.

One of the things I love most about this book is how it sparks creativity and fun in the middle of such a difficult time. These two imagination pages brought such a big smile to my face!

Even if you don’t have a personal need for this story, you can still make a difference. Copies can be purchased online under “donate a copy”—and those books are finding their way into hospitals and to children who need a little extra light right now. 🌈📚

A big shout out to .wild.ones_nature.play in TAS who has been such an incredible support lately!

A complete stranger who has become a true champion of Finding Toby’s Smile, not only sharing it at home with her family, but also bringing it into her school. 💛

From colouring in with her daughter, having rich classroom discussions and creating an art display, to chatting with other parents and even sewing her very own angry Echo — her passion for the story blows me away.

I feel so grateful to have someone believe so much in this book and to see it actively being used to spark conversations and creativity in everyday life. 🌟

Over the weekend I was privileged to be part of the Melton Library Learning Festival 📚✨

I had the joy of reading Mabel’s Magical Meal to around 30 children. Together, we explored interactive questions about healthy eating 🥦🍎, enjoyed a touch-and-feel experience with real fruits and vegetables, and wrapped up the session with some colouring in 🎨.

A big thank you to Melton Library for having me — what a wonderful way to share the magic of stories and healthy habits! 💛

Last Friday for Book Week, I had the privilege of standing in front of my school assembly to read my newest book Finding Toby’s Smile.

It was the largest crowd I’ve ever spoken to — with students from Prep to Year 6, staff, and parents all gathered together.

My biggest takeaway? How supportive and kind my class truly is. I shared with them that I was feeling nervous, and without hesitation, they encouraged me:
💬 “Be brave, be confident, be calm, take deep breaths, be strong.”

Not only were the students incredible, but the staff were just as encouraging and supportive, which made the experience even more special.

I left feeling so humbled and grateful to be surrounded by such incredible little humans (and adults!). 💛📚
