BREAKING: On the morning of September 27, at approximately 11:52am, Thai military forces initiated an attack on Cambodian forces' positions, firing multiple rounds of mortars and small arms at the Cambodian military base in the An Ses area.

Cambodian troops exercised high restraint and did not retaliate. As of 1:15pm, the Thai side continues to fire on Cambodian forces without ceasing.
