As a passionate technology teacher with almost 15 years of experience in the classroom and over 5 years in leadership, I specialize in integrating cutting-edge digital tools into the classroom, fostering a dynamic learning environment for my students. I am a certified facilitator for the Kouzes-Posner’s Student Leadership Challenge and have been involved in Harvard’s Making Learning Visible programme. My teaching is largely centered upon the 5E (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) Inquiry approach. This approach is based on the constructivist theory of learning and hinges upon the idea of constructing knowledge and meaning from experiences. In addition to my teaching role, I run a 3D printing hobby business, creating innovative and personalized products that make life better one layer at a time. My dual expertise allows me to seamlessly blend practical tech skills with entrepreneurial insights, offering a unique perspective on modern education. As an Apple Learning Coach and aspiring Apple Distinguished Educator, I am dedicated to harnessing the power of Apple technology to enhance both my teaching and creative endeavors. I have a keen interest in technology and believe that technology in the hands of a great teacher can make a massive difference in the classroom.
