With thanks to both Calvin & the Big T
The workhorse fleet of .fish Twinpower 8000 reels are back from servicing🔧🪛-freshly spooled up with Shimano power pro 30lb braid & ready to go🎣🔥😀

Given these reels are now almost 10yrs old & have endured a lot of work/torture😄🤣, it made sense to have them 🔧🪛serviced properly rather than replaced💯
Bearings throughout all⚙️ have been exchanged✅

One reel didn’t make it out of ICU unfortunately-was beyond help.
So RIP-Twin Power🕳️⚰️🎣🛺💨
✝️Rotate in peace🌀🙏🏻
Have sourced another new one via EBay Japan🇯🇵

Pullin in the Pag 🎣🐠or winding up flattys in 50mt plus depths will sure be a smoother experience now💯
They feel & perform like brand new reels💯🌀again.

There’s always something to replace or renew across all styles of boating🚢🛥️⛵️🛶🚤
Last week or so has seen a few areas sorted✅
Cam from Westernport Trimming fashioned up a nice new set of deck seat cushions✅

Had a small issue with the Travel Buddy oven not 🫠♨️working.
Sent an email to 12 volt & 24 volt Ovens Travelbuddy explaining things & within 10mins receive a phone☎️📞call from Darren-who runs the show up there in Bendigo.
Whilst we discussed what needs sorting, he sent through an 📨email with a stack of pics on how to disassemble the oven for repair🔧🪛
5 mins later I receive a pic text from Darren-postal receipt-posted inside 15-20mins📭📬
A repair kit arrives 3 days later & was fitted up by Josh from JL Marine ✅
Pretty solid service from Travel Buddy Ovens Australia🇦🇺💯

Also had the 🌀🌀props tidied up via Novdec Propeller services in Frankston.

A few more days & the fleet of twinpower 8000 reels will 🛬land in 🇦🇺after their 🪛🔧service in Singapore by Cal Reel Spa リールスパ Fishing Reel Servicing

& 🏁finally would just like to thank Dek Mate for a creating a quality product💯
Almost 12months now & after lots of 👣🥾👟👞it has performed floorlessly🤣😆
In all seriousness, it really is a top addition to any boat floor.
Great product & easy to maintain-clean✨

Mixed group of individuals this 🌅morning hopped aboard-keen for some flake 🎣🦈
Brilliant weather at times early morn offshore🌤️☀️…before being shrouded in fog earlier🌫️🌫️🌫️& again later morn into arvo..
Action was great with both 🎣🦈Shark & large gooper 🦑Egi jumping on jigs🦑💯✅

The crew, Adam, Ron, Tristan & George had a busy session they won’t forget in a hurry💯🔥
Calm seas are always a nice opener🌅
Big 🦑-🐙flappasaurus & cuttlefish & 🎯🦑arrow squid were all caught this morning. Awesome addition to what was instore….

Soon we had huge 🎓🦈school shark engulfing baits & racing off💯🎣🔥💪🏻
Gummy shark approved & joined the party🎊also.

Kudos to young George who at the age of 82’ showed all how its done & got amongst the 🎣🔥🦈action, landing a top Gummy🦈shark.
Well done 👏🏻👏🏻💯😀✅

Had some fun with an Albatross🙄😀🤣before release👐🏻🦅

The last couple trips this week have seen some very good🎣💯🔥🦈shark action offshore🌊
School🎓& gummy🦈shark are about & have provided a lot of personal🥇🏆🎗️bests.

We’ve lost some too as the school shark is more of a challenge both with dentition🦷🦷✂️& their 🌀💨🌪️crazed efforts near surface-boatside-sure makes the trip lively at times💯✅

Things are hotting up🔥also on the flappasaurus🦑front with plenty about & some very good sized 🐙cuttlefish are showing up in numbers also.

A month or so ago, good mate bestowed an 💡idea upon me with what he said would be a ‘game changer’🥇👏🏻👏🏻
We’ve all launched 🌌🌅pre dawn & had windscreens & side clears covered in 💧water-🌫️dew, that’s pretty hard to 😑see through-we seem to get by,

However there’s a simple solution💯 🔥💨
Heat✅🔥💪🏻
Simply install a sml fan style heater & place in cab area.
Either on floor or dash-both work.
Switch to high setting🔥🔥
Within an ⏳⌛️hour or so-screens n side clears will be dry n 🖼️clear.
🔌Unplug in 🌅morn before heading to ramp-sorted.
Makes a huge difference 💯😀
