Lord, turn our hearts back to You.
Where there is pride, give us humility.
Where there is hatred, teach us love.
Where there is confusion, give us truth.
Where there is anxiety, give us peace.
Where there is sin, lead us to repentance.
Where there is spiritual dryness, awaken hunger again.
Where there is hopelessness, reveal Your presence.
And where we have made everything else more important than You,
remind us that nothing is worth losing our souls over.
I pray that our homes find You.
Our families find You.
Our churches find You.
Our young people find You.
Our leaders seek You.
Our communities turn toward You.
And that we stop running from the One who has been calling us home all along.
Because the answer this world desperately needs isn’t another trend, another ideology, another distraction, or another temporary fix.
We need Jesus.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven. — 2 Chronicles 7:14
