😎 the holy cowabunga: MISSIIION STATEMENTTT #001

The seven member supergroup is made up of Kris Jaqui, Zen Plant, Hook Lacey, Via, Rebecca Grant, Stef Mon Do and Cassidy Shakki-Lo Ÿung.

This alternative K-Pop group was formed in 1998 when the Kris, Zen, Hook, Lace, Via, Rebecca, and Cass were classmates. Stef Mon Do joined later on as a drummer and beat maker, although the whole group are multi-instrumentalists, and most dabble with beatmaking.

Inspired by Y2K fashion and aesthetic, Cass & Cowabunga aim to incorporate frutiger aero sounds into their music, whether that be sound effects, or lost artifacts of sound, that were formed in the early 2000's and still maintain a futuristic feeling.

"I love working with the holy cowabunga as a main project, albiet, a side-project, and they are and always will be my band. I'm feeling like this album releasing in 2024 will set the grounds for many more to come". - Cassidy.
