❤️ Long Nostalgic Post ❤️
I haven’t ventured out to have a dance at in so so SO long!! Probably not since the last time I DJ’d there (approx 2006). A lot has (obviously) changed over the years and even though I wasn’t allowed to video, I I felt I needed a (teeny tiny) reminder to keep just for myself ❤️
The ‘day party’ video was taken at the day after where I was only supposed to go ‘check it out’ for an hour or so and ended up raving away on that little VIP back dance floor till close at 3:30am 😵💫☠️
To be perfectly honest, over the last few years (after having my kids) I have just found it easier to pretend to myself that the parties weren’t happening and let Wally go and enjoy having some fun…
Perhaps that’s because it kinda makes me a little sad to know those days of my youth are now well and truely gone forever….
However, whatever drew me back up that familiar hill this time around allowed me to realise that I don’t have to feel sad about growing old…. I was one of the lucky ones who played/danced/smiled and met so many incredibly creative like minded ppl back then and last Saturday/Sunday taught me I can and did nurtured new memories of that same (perhaps slightly older soul) who can still dancing her heart out x ❤️🙏🏻
