Hi Ska Street 3MDR listeners. Apologies that I've been MIA. I've had laryngitis and needed to take a break for a few weeks from radio until I got my voice back. 😷 But I'll be back in the 3MDR 97.1 FM studio for more ska tunes and ska news this Skaturday at 2pm. There's lots of amazing ska gigs coming up, including family-friendly shows, so don't miss this week's gig guide!

The following week I'm heading into hospital for a bit, so Mark Gardner will be hosting Ska Street and playing all your favourite Aussie ska until I get back. 😁

Tomorrow at 2pm on Ska Street 3MDR we will be celebrating Monkey Ska day! That means for just one day, I will only be playing ska that has something to do with monkeys! I promise this is not just going to be Monkey Man on repeat for two hours; this is going to be all the best monkey-filled ska songs stretching back to the early days of ska. All credit goes to Adam Timms for the monkey ska concept. I had a lot of fun putting this playlist together!
