• Πριν από 26 περίπου χρόνια, το όνειρο του Σπύρου Σταμούλη για ένα καθημερινό 24ωρο ελληνόφωνο ραδιοφωνικό σταθμό στη Μελβούρνη, που θα αγκάλιαζε, θα ένωνε και θα εξυπηρετούσε ολόκληρη την Ελληνική Παροικία και θα αποτελούσε τη φωνή της, έγινε επιτέλους πραγματικότητα!
Το «3ΧΥ Ράδιο Ελλάς», που οργανώθηκε, στελεχώθηκε και πρωτολειτούργησε την 28η Οκτωβρίου 1994, συνεχίζει την ευδόκιμη λειτουργία του, και έπειτα για δύο σχεδόν 27 χρόνια συνεχούς και απρόσκοπτης λειτουργίας, αποτέλει τη μόνιμη αναλλοίωτη και ισχυρή φώνη της Παροικίας αφού! Το 3XY έχει διασκεδάσει, βοηθήσει, ενημερώσει και συνδεθεί με χιλιάδες Αυστραλούς ελληνικής καταγωγής σε όλη την Αυστραλία. Το σήμα του σταθμού φτάνει εκτός από τη Μελβούρνη και σε ένα τεράστιο μέρος της Βικτώριας καθώς και σε άλλες πολιτείες της Αυστραλίας.
Στο προγράμμά του περιλαμβάνονται εκπομπές για την Παροικία, την υγεία, την εκπαίδευση, τη θρησκεία και διάφορα μουσικά αφιερώματα. Με τα σύντομα και αναλυτικά δελτία ειδήσεων, ο 3ΧΥ ενημερώνει για όλες τις τελευταίες πολιτικές και κοινωνικές εξελίξεις στη Βικτώρια, την Αυστραλία, την Ελλάδα και τον υπόλοιπο διεθνή χώρο.

The European Parliament’s three largest political groups have agreed to remove references to a "Macedonian national identity" and "Macedonian language" from the draft of the annual progress report on SKOPIA (North of Macedonia).

HELLENISM: There is something quite important to note here: in their early development, many Christians were taught by Greek (pagan) philosophers, who helped shape the philosophical foundation of Christianity.

Did you know that Church Fathers such as John Chrysostom, Gregory Nazianzus, Basil the Great of Caesarea, and Theodore of Mopsuestia were taught by the famous pagan philosopher Libanius?

Yes, they were.

Libanius, during the Eastern Roman Empire, remained a devout pagan. Yet he taught both Christian and pagan students. His closest pupil was Basil, and his close friend was Julian.

After him, Basil continued in the same tradition, but with a Christian focus. He believed that to understand theology, one must also read Homer and Hesiod.
