🎞️ SYNOPSIS

In an empty world where all the people are living through their smartphones, there is Ash, a teenage girl, trying to discover who she is, but social media doesn’t make it easy.

Ash struggles with social anxiety and relies on social media to connect with others. She is constantly scrolling through photos of people from her school having a great time and fixates on negative comments aimed at her. Ash is very insecure about her life and feels like she doesn’t have anything to share with others.

Her feelings manifest into Emojis that become aggressive, causing her to break down. She finds herself in a black void. However, in the middle of the darkness, Ash will find a little sparkle that will save her.

To raise awareness of the issues in young people experiencing high levels of anxiety, we are going to tell a story about a young teenage girl who struggles to socialise in the real world. This is a relatable situation that will resonate with young audiences and guide them to seek help for themselves or reach out to others.
