We were lucky enough to have Ellie Angell join us for a lunch & learn with both our Melbourne and Perth teams, where she shared her story as a trans woman working in our industry. Ellie spoke candidly about her experience navigating life and work, what true allyship looks like, and how we can all play a role in fostering safer, more inclusive workplaces. Some truth bombs...

After spending the last four years in creative and digital agencies in Melbourne, Dez decided to return to the wild west and we couldn’t be happier to have him join the Match & Wood team.

Calling all generations! 🙌

We were proud to see our CEO take the stage at the MFA Leadership Series panel last week, joining an intergenerational conversation about the future of leadership alongside the brilliant Jasmyn Dawkins.

Across generations the message was clear - the best path forward is one that blends experience with fresh perspective. Or as one smart table put it, “We need yesterday’s honesty coupled with today’s empathy.”

Huge thanks to the Media Federation of Australia for bringing these important conversations to life, and to and for an inspiring keynote.

We are overflowing with pride and excitement for this superstar duo, the winners of the inaugural Hatchlings Media Competition - Olivia Casamento & Ashley Hill 🐊🐊

After an initial competition round they were flown to Cairns alongside the other amazing finalists and challenged with a 24-hour brief for Women on a Mission. On minimal sleep but lots of adrenaline they delivered a truly game-changing solution to take out the top spot. It's fair to say they will remember the B&T Cairns Crocodiles for a long time to come!

We’re excited to give a big Match & Wood welcome to our newest Communications Director, Millie Hawkes 🙌

Millie hit the ground running by spending her first week on conference with us in Margaret River (the perfect induction...) and has since slotted seamlessly into the Melbourne office.

A proud Scorpio and West Coast Eagles fan, by day she brings strong media smarts and depth of experience to our team. And on weekends, think pilates, movies, and just the right amount of rosé👌

Big congratulations to Olivia Casamento and Ashley Hill who are finalists in the inaugural Hatchlings Media competition 👏

After competing against teams from across the Asia Pacific region they secured a top 3 spot which sees them head to the next month for the live finals. What an incredible, and well deserved, experience. Best of luck team!! 🏆🥇⭐️
