I started my studio with a naive dream—recording and mixing heavy bands full-time. 10 years ago, that felt like an unachievable milestone. Today, I’m doing it.

But be careful what you dream of—because the reality isn’t all glitter and unicorns. Running an audio production business full-time is a test. A brutal challenge. Can you keep up with the workload? The endless revisions? Shrinking budgets? Paying the bills without burning out? Managing a schedule with no real structure? Staying ahead in an industry where the bar keeps rising?

And yet… I’m here. Still doing this. Full-time. And I’m beyond grateful to create music that fulfills both me and my clients. The grind is real. And when it comes to making music, the real test begins - as the Universe will test your worth for creating something that has no price tag on it - your art.

That’s why all I can do is focus on self-development, meditation, a strict routine, mental health, and just staying humble and grinding.

I've been full-time in this business for 5 years now, and professionally for more than a decade

This career is no walk in the park and isn't for the faint-hearted

In fact it will test you to your very core. Music industry either crushes you. Or you thrive through it. This test is what defines heavy music and those of us who can make it a career...

Sleepless nights on where to get the next client.
How to survive through an overwhelm of projects? How to reply to all messages and emails and not make anyone upset? Give enough value and attention to the peers?

Constant fatigue - it takes all the efforts and more to fill in the calendar. Make the content the audience will benefit from. Doing it all for free.

To only persevere and do what you love the most. Create heavy music with amazing people and live off it.

That's why I'm putting in the work. To say that I'm challenged all the time is an understatement. I got no choice though - either power through the challenges and be the best for my clients, on too of my game, skills, fatigue.

Or literally disappear trying.

I respect every musician and peer out there putting in the hard yards. Let's crush this year together!
