Just 3 more nights of rehearsals until we go into hibernation! Come make the most of these studios while you can.

What's next? Magnet ("the company") will still exist - in a different location (TBC). Our overall aim is to find a cosier space - if you hear of anything 200m² or so, or would like to take the reigns within your current space, let's keep the conversation open! We will be taking a break in between though - running a small business the past few years has been a wild ride (!!!) & we must recuperate for a bit.

Roosevelt St is a special spot, sure, but we are comforted that, at the end of the day, the vibe is really made by the people & the music, not the 4 walls on their own. The economy can't take that from us ✨😎🤘 We will find a new home & be better than ever!

To our wonderful Magnet community,

We regret to announce that, from 16 August 2024, Magnet will be going on hiatus.

After much reflection, consultation & planning, we have decided to close our Coburg North location permanently.

We will be on the lookout for a new location which will better suit our services, and better serve our clients. To put it simply, the Coburg North building was too large (and therefore expensive) to run, and did not have many amenities we would like to provide (such as air conditioning). Plus, zoning laws restricted what we could do here.

For now, we continue to offer recording & production services – please contact Di Drew at [email protected].

We will keep you updated with our movements. Until then, thank you for your support over the past 11 years, and for being a part of the Magnet world.
