The Poisoned King is out in bookshops today! 💚🐉

The Poisoned King is the second book in Katherine Rundell's bestselling Impossible Creatures series.

When Christopher Forrester is unexpectedly woken by a miniature dragon chewing on his face, his heart leaps for joy. For months he's dreamed of returning to the Archipelago the secret islands where all the creatures of myth still live. But he did not know it would involve a rescue mission on the back of a sphinx, or a plan to enter a dragon's lair. Who else loves that new book feeling? 🖤

Ngurra Home is the final adventure for Mia, taking place after Black Cockatoo and Dirran. Mia has navigated her way through culture, Country and familial ties, and lived in a boarding school thousands of kilometres away from home. Now she is studying Conservation and Wildlife Science at university whilst working part-time for a wildlife sanctuary when she is called home to protect and fight for Country.

Written by and published by this is a great read if you are interested in learning about First Nations cultures and can be read as a standalone, or part of the series after Black Cockatoo and Dirran.
