I have grown up seeing my mum making a huge batch of pinnies for us and family. Pinni is something which every punjabi household makes in winters. It just not a sweet that you eat in winters, its a feeling of your moms hug, sisters warmth, your grandmothers love. Each bite is a pure joy of goodness. I have seen my friends in hostel waiting for me to come back from hometown with pinni dabba and share with them. I remember i used to give pinnies to my boyfriend who is my hubby now and his family used to love it.
My mum is miles away from me so i make the pinnies by myself following my mum's recipe which she never told me. Well still knows dont know how. I am her daughter its in my blood.
