๐ What better way to celebrate the end of 2025, than with the foster fail of our incredibly special one eared boyโฆโฆ.
๐พโฅ๏ธ๐ANGUS๐โฅ๏ธ๐พ
Coming to us as a 6 month old pup, Angus had already experienced a couple homes in his short life.
And as hard as we tried, the next couple were not the right fit for him either ๐๐ผ
Angus was full on 24/7 ๐ตโ๐ซโฆ..
No manners, destructive, launching himself at windows and people, and simply just out of control.
If he wasnโt getting attention, he would make sure you knew about it ๐ฅ
โฆโฆ but we could see so much more in Angus; an eagerness in his eyes to learn and frustration by not having the engagement and further training he required. We knew how important it was to get the next move right for him๐ค๐ผ
๐ณIn order to help Angus learn some manners, and proper interactions with other animals and people, we enrolled him in a โboard and trainโ program with Alpha Boarding Kennels ๐ก
This is where he stayed and went from strength to strength, earning the love of all his trainers; including Shermalie and Matthew, who we feel so blessed to say have now adopted Angus โฅ๏ธ
This young boy went from a destructive delinquent (that vets wanted to heavily subdue with medication ๐), to star pupil who will end up being an โobedience demo dogโ; training other dogs in need ๐๐ป๐ (and loving the attention we might add ๐คญ)
Shortly before adoption, we did have a big scare with Angus becoming very unwell and having multiple seizures constantly.
After a visit to the neurologist and MRI, it was discovered that he has epilepsy.
๐ฅน This didnโt deter Shermalie and Matthew one bit; each day asking โwhenโ they could adopt this darling boy into their family, where he now lives with 3 other dogs; happy, loved, and in the best home we ever could have wished for him.

A dog like Angus really does take a massive effort from so many in our team, but we would like to say our greatest thanks to;
๐ซถ๐ผ Angus first two foster homes with us that were beautiful homes; just not the right fit for him.
๐ซถ๐ผ Greg, Amy and the team at Alpha Dog Training for the wonderful work they did with Angus, but also going above and beyond, loving and caring for him for 3x longer than intended (as an incredible donation to rescue), just so we could find him the PERFECT home ๐๐ผ
๐ซถ๐ผ Julie for being such an incredible and dedicated bully buddy for Angus, going above and beyond to do whatever he needed. (We know this boy gave you a few extra grey hairs ๐)
โฅ๏ธ And of course to Shermalie and Matthew, for giving our sweet boy the home of his dreams. We feel so blessed that he is now part of your family.
