Hi all,

Event is officially cancelled and refunds have been sorted (Should have received or will be getting shortly an email from Oztix / Eventbrite)

It’s almost kinda a relief to finally put a tombstone over this cursed event.

We have tried so hard over the last nearly 2 and a half years to put this event on but have been hampered by 4 postponements during the Covid times - sometimes missing out being able to put it on in 2021 by a literal day because of Covid restrictions.

Always wanted to try get a line up as close as the original in 2020 hence some delays in re-announcing as bands were smashing it on EU tours.

Want to get back to enjoying and being excited about new music which I haven’t been able to do with the constant negative experiences with the last fest.

Thanks for the patience and support from The Corner ,bands and especially ticket holders!We had sold the allocation out within 48 hours when first went on sale.

Also thanks to Eve and Sean for dealing with my meltdowns. Hopefully back putting gigs soon x

Hey all,

Sorry for the WP festival silence - we had to take a social media break for our sanity after 5 or so continuous postponements / cancellations over the last few years.

We will have some news about a new date next week - thanks for the patience!

We have a handful of shirts left that were meant to be for the festival back in July. I haven't got round to putting them online yet but send us a message if you want one.

Hey all,

We were hoping to announce tomorrow the rescheduled date for Weird Place Fest 4.5 on the 21st Aug but with today’s lockdown we are just going to have to wait and see.

Will keep everyone updated when we have more news x

Our 2nd attempt at getting Weird Place Fest 4 to go ahead has now been postponed due to the Covid lockdown.

Thanks to everyone that bought tickets and helped us sell out even in these crazy times, it’s hard to keep the faith and energy after it not happening twice now but it’s been encouraging getting messages from people who were excited for it to happen.

I’m speaking to The Corner as we speak to find another date that can work for everyone and will update ASAP
