Meet Liam Downes and his truffle-hunting dogs from Black Cat Truffles by Liam Downes 🐾

After years leading some of Visit Ballarat’s best kitchens, hatted chef Liam Downes swapped his restaurant life for something a little different: hunting for one of the world’s most treasured ingredients with his two dogs 🐶

🍂 On this beautiful 20-acre farm, not only can you go truffle hunting with Liam and his dogs, but you can also enjoy a beautiful long lunch, brunch or weekend lunch.

This is absolutely one of my favourite experiences in Visit Ballarat and cannot recommend visiting the team at Black Cat Truffles by Liam Downes enough - they are so passionate giving you the best truffle experience possible!
