The Radio station is manned and run fully by volunteers from all age groups, backgrounds and ethnicities. We pride ourselves in the variety of our pro

gramming.

979fm Studios are located in the grounds of Victoria University, 20-40 Rees Road, Melton South in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne. Our licence permits us to transmit to the western suburbs of Melbourne, however with our web-link we are now a truly international station transmitting 24 hours a day to all across the globe! New for this year, in conjunction with Eynesbury Trick or Treat, Eynesbury Homestead, Melton FM, Eynesbury Dance Scene, Melton Performing Arts and Rotary we are launching Spooky Town Eynesbury with free entry from 5.30pm Friday 31st October.

We are celebrating Halloween in style with a 21 mt. SpookWalk for children and adults alike, Competition for Best Costumes, Story Corner for our Pre-schoolers, Petting Ponies, Food Trucks, Ms. Peacock Cocktail Specials, Lantern Making, Medievil Stocks and a Guillotine for photo ops, free sweets and popcorn for every child and $1.00 snags. What's not to like, drop in during or after you walk your local Trick or Treat.
