Enjoying the sights of KL, I haven’t had much time to post, which must be the sign of a great holiday!

Here are a few snippets from the last few days. Making memories, spending time with family, exploring, and enjoying every moment. It’s been wonderful to simply soak it all in. 🧡🧡

Staying in KL with family and taking in the sights. The last time we were here was 20 years ago, and so much has changed since then. There’s no Summer or Winter here, just warm weather all year round, with a rainy season and a drier season.

We’ve been walking plenty of steps, exploring the city and enjoying the delicious Malaysian food. One highlight was dining at the famous Hakka restaurant, which has been serving locals for over 60 years. The food was absolutely delicious and a wonderful way to experience the local culture.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO PLEASE EVERYONE. ❤️❤️

One of the most empowering things a woman can do is trust herself.

Trust her instincts. Trust her decisions. Trust the path she chooses to walk.

Not everyone will agree with your choices, and not everyone needs to.

You were never meant to live your life according to someone else’s expectations.

Believe in yourself. Stay true to your values. Have the courage to do what feels right for you.

There is a wonderful freedom that comes from being comfortable in your own skin and confident in the direction you’re heading.

Keep moving forward. Your path is yours alone, and that’s what makes it special. ❤️

Off to KL and Bali early tomorrow morning, so staying in the city before our early flight.
So happy I’m over my head cold before flying too. ✈️❤️

DON’T PACK AWAY YOUR LINEN JUST YET! 🧡🧡

One thing I love doing is finding new ways to wear pieces already hanging in my wardrobe.

These khaki linen pants are a few years old, but instead of packing them away for Winter, I’ve styled them with a white shirt, a beige knit and a scarf in similar tones to create a layered look that feels perfect for the cooler months.

I’ve added heels and a statement bag to elevate the outfit and bring a little extra interest.

I think sometimes we forget that many of our Summer pieces can work beautifully in Winter with a few simple styling changes. Not only does it give you more outfit options, but it also helps you get more wear from the clothes you already own.

Style doesn’t always have to mean buying something new. Sometimes it’s simply looking at your wardrobe differently. 🧡

WHAT I WORE TO A BLACK TIE WEDDING! 🤎🖤

We attended a beautiful black tie wedding in Cairns last Saturday and this is the dress I chose to wear for the occasion.

Comfort is always important to me, so I decided to wear this dress without a belt this time and let it flow naturally. I’ve worn this dress before with a slim belt, but for this evening I preferred the softer silhouette.

One of the things I love most about this dress is the sheer sleeves and the gorgeous sequinned detailing on the cuffs. It’s those little details that make a piece feel extra special.

I paired it with chocolate heels, a chocolate clutch and my gold necklace featuring a dark Tahitian pearl, along with matching earrings.

It was such a wonderful celebration and so lovely to catch up with friends, many of whom we hadn’t seen for quite some time. 🤎🖤
