This week weโre excited to introduce Lynn Whyatt from the Shire of Chapman Valley, WA!

Lynn never gets tired of the view: rolling ranges, green valleys after the rain, a creek path for the dogs, and plenty of space for her husbandโs next creative project.

Whether itโs being called a changemaker or a community cheerleader, Lynnโs energy is infectious. Sheโs currently the Event Manager for Centacare Family Servicesโ inaugural Christmas in July charity gala, connecting with local businesses and organisations to strengthen her region.

As the founder of Three Point Turn, Lynn is the go-to person who simply gets things done, from events and socials to streamlining operations for regional businesses. Sheโs also a founding director of the Transformative Growth Institute, soon to be a registered not-for-profit. With programs like The Blokehood Project, theyโre delivering youth leadership and resilience workshops across the state.

Originally from Los Angeles, Lynn was recently selected to represent her region at the Australian Rural Leadership Foundationโs National Changemaker Gathering in Cairns, a huge honour fully funded by the Future Drought Fund.

Lynn loves hanging with her two border collie mixes, Bodhi and Binx. Youโll often find them exploring Nukara Farm, where sheโs also Manager of Events and Communications.

Lynn is a Mexican-American raised in LA who majored in German Studies. Despite not learning Spanish as a child, sheโs now fluent in German and taught English for eight years!

Her mum Gigi, currently navigating cancer treatment, is Lynnโs hero: a single mother who raised three kids with grit, humour and unconditional love. โItโs our turn to look after her now.โ
