JASON Degoldi is once again King of the Mountain after claiming the event at Redline Raceway, Ballarat last night.

Celebrating his birthday in style, Degoldi claimed his first and second heats, finishing second in his final heat behind the Victoria One of Matt Nelson.

Eighteen laps into the final Degoldi took the lead, before control the race for the remaining 32 laps.

Nelson finished second and Shaun Henry third.

HIGHSIDE Promotion Modified Sedan driver Kye Walters was in action in Ballarat last night for the VMPA.

He started eighth in his first heat, finishing second, and second in his last heat, claiming the chequered flag.

For the feature Walters earned himself a position two start, and finished second behind Brad Wicks. Rachel Pratt finished third.

HIGHSIDE Promotion had a couple of drivers in action over the weekend.

Kye Walters raced in Portland for the VMPA.

He won his first heat ahead of Darcy Wilson and Dale Hallett and crossed the line second in his next race, behind Brody Chrystie.

He was a Did Not Fish in the A Main after problems with his power steering.

The chequered flag was claimed by Corey Jetson.

Also racing was Mitch Glynn.

Glynn raced Simpson Speedway's Front Row Challenge.

In what was only just fourth race in the class of Wingless, Glynn made the A Main, and was in a good position to finish fourth until disaster struck.

He started ninth in his first race, and finished fifth, and second in heat two, coming home third.

Glynn raced and won the B Main, earning his place in the A Main.

He was running in fourth when he was involved in a tangle causing him to roll.

Glynn is still ecstatic with his night, completing the second fasted lap in the A Main, and clocking over 100km in the back straight.

👉 UPDATES BELOW 👈

KYE Walters is in action tonight at the Kings Royal.

He has already been out for his first heat, however didn't finish the race due to an issue with an injector.

The problem is now fixed and Walters will run a further two heats tonight, featuring in Heat 16 and 25.

He will compete in another two heats tomorrow night before finals are being held on Saturday.

UPDATE:

In his heats remaining on Thursday night Walters finished third behind Shaun Thomson and Shane McDonald, and second behind Greg Worling.

UPDATE (Night Two):

In his first heat for the night Walters started from Position Two and claimed the chequered flag.

His car is looking fast, but he'll have to continue that speed in his final heat race, as he starts from Position 10.

Walters finished heat two in fifth. The race was won by Wade Cleary, followed by Joel Berkley, Mason Cameron and Dylan Barrow.

UPDATE (Night Three:)

Walters competed in the D Dash and finished third behind Dylan Barrow and Jakobe Jetson. He will now compete in the B Main, vying to finish in the first six to transfer to the A Main.

Walters has finished second in the B Main and will now take his place in the A Main.

FEATURE UPDATE

After starting 19th, Walters has finished second in the Kings Royal feature, behind Shane MacDonald.

DRAWS have been released for Night Two of the T-Bar Nationals.

Kye Walters will start from Position 11 for his first Heat for the night, race 14 for Modified Sedans. He'll complete his heat races with a second position start in Heat 16.

UPDATE: Walters finished third in Heat 14 and first in Heat 16.

UPDATE 8.50pm: Walters started second in the pole shuffle, and as the best performer in that, will now start the feature off pole.

KYE Walters has won mini feature two of the T-Bar Nationals tonight.

He claimed the event from the Queensland One of Michael Shelford and Nathan MacDonald.

Racing will continue tomorrow night.

Highside Promotion also send their best wishes to Mildura Modified Sedan driver Jake Drewett who had a tumble in mini feature one tonight.
