Wild Weather Response – Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers 💨🧡

Our incredible Whittlesea SES volunteers have been working tirelessly overnight, responding to wild winds that swept across our community City of Whittlesea

Since yesterday afternoon, our crews have attended over 15 requests for assistance, including fallen trees on roads, homes, and vehicles 🌳. As residents begin their day, we expect this number to continue rising.

We kindly ask for your patience as our volunteers make their way through the community, prioritising calls and working as quickly and safely as possible.

🌤️ Conditions are expected to ease today, but if you need SES assistance, please call VICSES on 132 500.
🚨 For life-threatening emergencies, always call 000.

A huge thank you to our dedicated Whittlesea volunteers for their commitment and care – not just here, but right across the state.
