Our first release for 2025 is here!!!!!!
Nugget p**n- 'The dark side of Uranus' will be out THIS WEEK on Bandcamp!
This will be our very first full length LP release by any of our bands/projects so we are pretty stoked about this one!!!!!

New NUGGET P**N up on our YouTube channel! 'Disturbing the peace' is the first song off the full length LP out later this year (all going well).
This will be the first full length LP ever released by BLUNTrecords after a string of EP's.This project was not supposed to be happening until next year, but an unfortunate turn of events has seen it jump the que. The new BLUNT LP we were working on will be completed hopefully early next year once I can play guitar again.

Been a bit quiet here at BLUNTrecords recently so here's a bit of an update.
We have started writing songs for our first full length BLUNT LP, unfortunately I've done myself an injury and we will have to put that on hold for a few months while I recover. Lucky for me my synth hand still works, so I will be getting stuck into another project I had planned for next year, a full length Nugget p**n LP called 'The dark side of Uranus'
Hopefully we will have some new filth to unleash on the world soon.......

Big shout out to the legends at 5GTR FM, in particular the Whole lotta heavy show for playing some BLUNT and opening the show with FVK, another BLUNTrecords project.

Steve Albini was a huge influence on our music and DIY ethos here at BLUNTrecords. He produced some of the greatest records of all time and was a part of some of our favourite bands, in particular Big Black.
Hopefully my neighbours are also fans, because they are about to get a big old ear full of his music tonight.
RIP legend.

OUT NOW!!!!! 2023 has been a pretty uneventful old year release wise here at BLUNTrecords but, we managed to sneak this one in at the final hour. FVK is my new solo post-hardcore project and something I wanted to make for a long time. Me and a mate set out to make music like this probably 15 years ago, unfortunately that project didn't turn out as we had planned, we never recorded vocals for it and subsequently it was never released. However despite that project not working out, that was the moment I fell in love with making my own music. Fast forward to now and I still felt an overwhelming need to make some post-hardcore music, so here it is..........

5 demos from our 1st song writting sesh for our first full length BLUNT LP out later this year. These were recorded live in the studio, completely improvised, no reversals (clearly 😂) 100% pure filth!!!!!
