Welcome fellow prog lovers, we have another huge show for you this week as we once again bring you 2 hours of carefully curated prog music on Sunday night between 7:00-9:00 pm.

This week, Wednesday Morning Brekkie presenter, David will be back in the chair and will be playing 2 hours of great prog for your listening pleasure.

Purchased this week, David will be playing a single-disc compilation of "highlights" from the box set, Pink Floyd, The Later Years: 1987–2019, which was released on the 29th of November 2019, the cover of which features a photograph shot by Aubrey Powell/Hipgnosis in 1981 in Iceland, at the Krafla geothermal power station.

It follows the 2016 box set The Early Years 1965–1972, and compiles Pink Floyd's work under the leadership of David Gilmour after the departure of Roger Waters in 1985.

This show promises to be a fabulous night of music from one of the greatest prog rock bands ever, so make sure you are strapped in and tuned in for this listening experience.

Following this album, David will also be playing some new prog from Hondo and other new artists.

The road reconstruction on the 13.8 km stretch between the Southend Access Road turnoff and Beachport outlet is set to begin mid-July. 🚧 Emma is sure to have some great questions ready to ask Peter, don't miss this informative chat.

Council will be reconstructing the road on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure and Transport. The roadworks will be carried out in stages to minimise disruption to residents and local businesses.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of a much-loved member of 5THEFM.
Nathan Redden was co-host of the Thursday Drive show with Paul Mac for quite some time. He had an infectious enthusiasm for being involved and just loved music in so many forms.
As soon as he arrived each week, he’d get settled behind his microphone look at Paul Mac and with a huge grin, say “I’m a DJ”.
Nathan was more than someone who just came in to co-host a show. He absolutely loved music, and being on radio was the highlight of his week each Thursday. His enthusiasm, happiness at being on air and knowledge of artists and songs were a delight to be around.
Nathan was just ‘that kinda guy’ that everybody liked and it seems just about everyone in the Wattle Range area had met him or had an anecdote about him.
Nathan never complained, even over the past months when he was no longer able to go into the Radio Station or was in one hospital or another dealing with more and more serious setbacks. He was a fighter to the end and not only an example to us all, but an inspiration to any who met him.
You will be missed more than you could ever know Nathan, and your light will shine on us all and remind us of just how lucky we were to know you.

✨️🎤This Friday 9am to 12noon, Paul Mac will present a tribute show for Nathan, sharing all of Nathan's favourite songs with you. Please listen in to what will be a very heartfelt and fitting presentation for a much-loved presenter.

The creative mind of Jason Katsaras (from Dead Roo/Big Town) is behind Hard Rubbish, a new project that channels a spectrum of influences and emotions into a truly compelling sound. Hard Rubbish crafts songs that tap into the raw nerve of personal experience, exploring the familiar landscapes of lost love and the universal yearning for belonging.
Building on the momentum of earlier singles like '16 Walls' and 'Something', Katsaras is set to release his most introspective offerings yet, on his new compilation, ‘Evergreen’.
This song, 'Distort It' is a journey into Katsaras's inner world, traversing themes of relational uncertainty and the solitude found in regional NSW.
