Last week, while filming in the Riverina, Cooper Films captured footage of the historic Town of Gundagai on the banks of the Murrumbidgee. Known for its deep Australian folklore and the iconic Dog on the Tuckerbox monument, Gundagai is celebrated for its remarkable, sprawling heritage bridges, including the Historic Railway Viaduct, which cross the expansive river floodplains. While filming down south recently, Cooper Films passed through the picturesque town of Rutherglen. This town is situated in northeastern Victoria, Australia, close to the Murray River, bordering New South Wales. Rutherglen is world-famous for its rich, century-old winemaking tradition. It is particularly renowned for producing exceptional fortified wines, especially its luscious, globally celebrated Muscat (which we sampled). The town is also renowned for producing good horsemen. It was great to visit family while in town.
