This morning I headed to Feather & Noise to celebrate their beautiful new spring collection and Brittney Kleyn collab.

I wanted to create something bright, fresh and very spring to take along, I started with a wooden crate, added a limoncello spritz, two yellow glasses and a little yellow lantern, then picked some fresh lemons from my neighbour’s tree to bring the whole thing together. I love how much the real lemons and leaves added to it!

Gift details:
🍋 Wooden crate $9.99 IKEA
🍋 Limoncello Spritz $27
🍋 Yellow lantern $11.99 IKEA
🍋 Two yellow glasses $4.66 (from a set of 6) KMART
🍋 Fresh lemons from my neighbour’s tree

Total: $53.64, plus the lemons.

Such a happy little gift to make. It just feels like spring ☀️🍋

✨ Episode 2 of my $50 Christmas Gift Guide ✨
I wanted to put together a bright, fun picnic gift with everything you need to pack up and head outside for the day.

Here’s what I used:
🧺 TÖFSAND Picnic Hamper: $15.99, IKEA
🌸 Cooler Bag: $12, Target
🥤 21 Piece Picnic Set: $11.99, IKEA
🩷 Pink Throw: $9.99, IKEA

Total for the gift: $49.97 🙌

I love how all the colours work together even though nothing is actually from a matching set. It makes the whole gift feel really fun and considered, while still being super practical.

And everything can be used again and again for picnics, beach days, afternoons at the park or even just lunch in the backyard.

I finished it with ribbon and a card ☀️🌸🧺

✨ Episode 1 of my $50 Christmas Gift Guide ✨

For the first one this year, I wanted to create a gift inspired by those fun summer nights spent outside. Something you can take into the backyard, balcony or courtyard, pour a drink, light the lantern and pull out the throw when it starts to cool down.

Here’s what I used:
Wooden crate: $9.99, IKEA
Pink throw: $9.99, IKEA
Lantern: $11.99, IKEA
Glasses: $14 for 6, I used 2 ($4.67), Kmart
Arancia Orange Prosecco Spritz: $18 Liquorland (sale price)

Total for the main gift: $54.66

For styling I added in some fresh limes, a few pink striped straws and ribbon and a gift tag. Ribbon is from SPOTLIGHT

It’s such a fun gift for a friend, sister, work friend, host or anyone who loves a summer night spent outside. 🥂

And that’s officially the first episode for 2026! Plenty more $50 Christmas gift ideas to come 🫶🏼

I’m really comfortable putting together a gift, but when it comes to men’s shaving technology, I definitely needed some help.

I went down to Shaver Shop , explained what my husband currently uses and why he’s always avoided electric shavers, and the team were SO helpful walking me through the options. I ended up choosing the new Braun NEVO, then added everything he needs for a proper shaving routine, plus a fragrance. I love that you can find everything in the one spot.

I found a gift box that fit everything and made a custom insert to turn a collection of practical products into a really special Father’s Day gift.

If you’re thinking of gifting Dad anything for his shaving, grooming or self-care routine, ShaverShop should is a great place to start.

For me, this ticks all the gifting boxes: something practical, premium, genuinely useful, with self-care thrown in too.

If you’d like to make one for someone special this Father’s Day, you can use my code EMMA50 for 50% off your Father’s Day card with

My dad lives in New Zealand, so unfortunately we won’t get to see him this Father’s Day. Instead, we made him a card with Moonpig and I think my favourite part was actually listening to the kids talk about what their Poppa would like. There was lots of discussion over colours (yellow eventually won because that’s the colour of Poppa’s motorbike ), which photos we should use and all the little details we could add to make it feel like him.

But my favourite part was adding the kids’ handwritten notes. Living in another country means Dad misses lots of those little everyday things, like seeing how their handwriting is changing, so being able to include their actual writing made it feel that little bit more special.

We added some of our favourite photos and played around with the stickers, then had the finished card sent directly to Dad in NZ. And I already know we’ll see it on the fridge next time we’re over there.

You can also add video or audio messages via a QR code and have the finished card delivered straight to whoever you’re sending it to.

Father’s Day gift idea for the Dad who loves a cosy night in.

For this one, I started with the McWilliam’s 10 Year Old Tawny and worked backwards, thinking about the kind of moment you’d want to enjoy it in. A fire going, a good book, something sweet and nowhere you need to be.

I found this firewood basket for $15, filled it with firewood, then added everything Dad needs for his night in:

🍷McWilliam’s 10 Year Old Tawny $28
🪵Firewood basket $15
📖Book $23
🧦Socks $5.90
🍫Chocolate $9

Total: $77.90, plus the firewood and ribbon.

I made a little ‘Dad’s Night In’ card to tie the idea together, then finished the basket with ribbon and a bow.

I love that the basket isn’t just packaging either. Once the gift has been enjoyed, it can live beside the fire and be used to store wood.

A simple but really thoughtful way to turn a bottle of McWilliam’s Tawny into a whole Father’s Day experience. AD
