Have you ever wanted to be a Youth Presenter but not sure where to start?
4RFM are holding a Youth Presenter Info night on October 15, where you can come along, check out the station, meet the team and see what's involved in becoming a DJ and creating your very own radio show! Getting in early as we have our nephews wedding to attend this weekend (huge congratulations Jayke and Chloe)!
Tonight don't miss the Moranbah Community Workers Club Trivia night, where Les Quizerables will be contesting their win!
Then Friday the club will have their Friday Night raffles up for grabs, and Saturday morning start your day well with the Binda Park parkrun crew!
Up at the Moranbah Golf Club there will be a 4BBB team Stableford. Out at the Race Club on Sarchedon Dr, the annual Combined Unions' Party (formerly known at Christmas party) will be popping with rides, live music, food and drink for Union families!
The Moranbah Miners Rugby League Club will have Meat Tray raffles happening along with dinner options and great company, and to see the weekend out, our friends over at the Moranbah Community Garden are holding their AGM up at the Golfy Sunday morning!

2 Great Come and Try events happening this afternoon!
If you have some little fish in your family, then Moranbah Highlanders Swimming Club - Community Page could be just the thing your looking for!
Or if you've got a kid who loves to run, Moranbah Junior Touch Football Association will have all the answers to your touch footy questions down at the Eastern Sporting Fields!
One thing Moranbah has never been short of, is sporting choice!

Another packed weekend for the 'Bah!
Tonight we have Luke Geiger playing live at the Isaac Events Centre, sure to be a great night, especially if you make a dinner out of it with Chef Bec's amazing tucker!
There's also Friday night raffles at the Moranbah Community Workers Club, but don't stay out too late as Binda Park parkrun waits for no man or woman Saturday at 7am!
Down at Moranbah Tennis they're holding an open day/come and try, where you can have a crack and meet the new coach before regular coaching hits off next term.
And in Mackay at BBPrint Stadium, our Moranbah Miners Rugby League Club Under 20's, Women and Men's A Grade sides will be contesting the Grand Final! We are crazy proud and so excited to see the end results, these players have all earned their place under the big lights, and Moranbah are backing them all the way!
Meanwhile at Nebo, the Isaac Regional Council Nebo Bush Poets Smoko is turning 25, celebrating Saturday night with Luke Geiger (he's certainly making the rounds out here, right?) and then the Smoko itself will take place Sunday morning at the Nebo museum. So get your poems ready!
The Footy Club will still be holding their meat tray raffles Saturday night, and then Sunday the crew from Moranbah Playgroup are hosting an Intergenerational Play morning, bringing generations together for some old fashioned messy fun!
If you're in need of some new clothes on a budget, the Love Me Again Market will be on at the Moranbah Arts hall on Bacon St where you can grab yourself a high end bargain, for a steal!
It's also the last weekend before School holidays kick in on the 18th!
Bonkers!

A bit of a rundown on our 4RFM Music Bingo (booking link above)!

How it works- We play a song, if the song is on your card, you stamp! That's it!

Fill the line or the card, whatever the instruction is, be the first to shout BINGO and your in!

We will have some fun tie breakers if we need!

Don't stress if you don't know the song straight away, we guarantee you'll get it!

As you can see below, our 2 rounds (with 2 games in each round) are themed, Aussie Pub Rock and 80's Vs 90's!

There'll be singing, laughing and just to spice things up, we've upped the prize money, with $100 minor rounds, a $200 round, and a huge $500 last round!

We'll also have our money tree raffle and a lucky door prize pack donated by Barista Cliffe!

4RFM MUSIC BINGO NEEDS YOU!

We’re getting ready for Music Bingo this week, but we need a few more bums on seats to make it happen!

If you’re planning on coming along, please don’t leave your booking until the last minute. We need to know we’ve got the numbers to go ahead, so bookings really do matter for this one.

Grab your mates, round up the work crew and get a table together.

Great music, plenty of laughs and prizes up for grabs and absolutely no musical talent required!

Last weekend of August! Sigh.
Ok, tonight we have the regular Friday night raffles at the Moranbah Community Workers Club, and at 6.30pm, on 3 separate ovals, at the same time, we have our U13, U15 (go Scotty) and U17 (go Moo)Moranbah Miners Junior Rugby League prelims! Yeah, I'm nervous, can't image how they feel, but we are wishing them all the very best! What an awesome effort to get this far, and win, lose or draw, we're all proud as punch!
Saturday morning the Binda Park parkrun crew are off and running (or walking if that's your jam) at 7am sharp! It's also Free Dump Day thanks to Isaac Regional Council so be sure to jump online, see what you can and can't get rid off, and head out to the tip! Saturday afternoon/evening Mackay Blues Club have a performer out here playing at Moranbah Arts who is definitely worth a listen, plus meat tray raffles at the Moranbah Miners Rugby League Club!
Sunday bright and early the Moranbah Markets will be taking over the Town Square, complete with a starring visit from Pig the Pug and and an Ugliest Dog comp! We embrace all dogs, the ugly ones are just extra special! Be sure you stop and grab a B&E Burger to eat as you peruse!
Sunday is also the closing day for the Nebo Bush Poets comp, so if you've been thinking of entering, hop to it folks!

Did you catch our chat with Renee from the Isaac Events Centre this morning? We were talking all things Country Music, thanks to 2 great events on the horizon at our very own, (formally known as) Community Centre! We have the Musical Theatre production of Are You Lonesome Tonight, featuring an amazing 2 course meal and some brilliant country covers from incredible artists (including Dolly, rest her soul), which is happening Thursday Sept 3rd, and a visit from regional superstar Luke Geiger on Sept 11! Be sure to jump on these awesome opportunities, which also happen to be the first music events at the Centre in over 5 years! How great is that! Go take a look folks, and thanks for calling in Renee, we look forward to having you back each month to keep us in the entertainment loop!
