RPP is a Multi Media/broadcasting group located on the Mornington Peninsula region of Victoria, Australia.
3RPP radio station was established to provide a local radio service to the region following the introduction of commercial service 3MP in the late 1970s.
3RPP was initially based at studios located in Octavia Street, Mornington. The building was a former Telecom Australia exchange building,
and was located in the centre of a carpark adjoining the nearby Mornington Main Street Shopping Centre. There were a wide range of programs on 3RPP including specialist music programs, and regular daily breakfast programs and other popular programming including broadcasts from the still operating 21st Century Dance Club in Frankston. The LOGO has taken two forms since commencement of services, the first with "94.3 3RPP" in blue greek-styled characters on a white background, with the second being adopted upon the station's relocation to 98.7 MHz. The logo is described as a yacht sailing in a bay or inlet with sea-gulls above. This logo has been in use for well over 15 years by the radio station. Move to Moorooduc
The radio station was required to move from its Mornington location due to the extensions of the car park and the sale of their building to developers. The new studio location at the then "Moorooduc Cool Stores" provided a stable location for 3RPP's operations to the present day. Station Administration Staff
3RPP have until May 2010 had employed Maria McColl as Station Manager. After a long tenure of 22 years in the position 3RPP had advertised for a replacement. Following an extensive selection process, the station's committee appointed a new Station Manager, Mount Martha based former ABC Sport producer Brendon Telfer.

Today on Who Do You Love it's another WDYLove special. This time we are giving some respect to the musicians up the back of the live show, or alone in a soundproof room in the studio...often the butt of bad jokes, it's time for the drummers we like to shine.
Respect and music from Led Zeppelin's John Bonham, Stewart Copeland from The Police, Midnight Oil's Rob Hirst and old mates Ringo Starr & Charlie Watts plus the Kalamazoo Rhythm Ace Drum Machine also gets a run.
Who Do You Love with Shaun Carney and Bill Page, music you know and love plus a surprise or 3...every Monday at 2 pm on the Peninsula's only real local radio station 98.7 RPPFM - Your Peninsula Radio.

Established in the late ‘70’s in a flurry of flapping flares, syrupy ballads and bad disco we soon took hold of the community pulse and started producing programs that spoke to a local need for local stories. Drawing on the rich offerings of the region, and the bayside lifestyles of communities from Frankston to Portsea, our volunteer presenters create an eclectic mix of shows ranging through every style of music imaginable, as well as: morning shows, insight, culture and education, drive-time, ethnic, chat and local sport coverage.

Vision for the future
The move to vision keeps RPP in-step with a local and world community need for screen-based content. With our RPP OB van and mobile broadcast video studio we already offer live coverage of local football, netball, cricket, golf and soccer, as well as music events Live From Studio 3.
Station manager, and former ABC producer, Brendon Telfer, has a vision for the future that includes migrating many of our in-studio radio programs to the visual realm. Plans to build a TV-style host-set are underway, and very shortly we will be offering our hit shows in beautiful living colour.
