Hi to everyone in our incredible Community,

Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you for all your support and for taking action to help people who are in need of housing from the Mornington Peninsula, Frankston area and other locations across the South East suburbs of Melbourne.

We have all seen the rental price increases and noticed these increases having negative impacts on our community members. I have much traffic from women and men who access this page and reach out in life circumstances and situations that are personal and devastating for them.

I am hoping that today, considering we are feeling motivated here at Mornington Peninsula Private Rentals - no agents as we have had enough of seeing people struggle to find secure, safe and adequate housing options. Although this is due to a range of relationship issues/breakdowns, unfortunate life circumstances or just wanting change and to have a better life. Life is tough and being human is hard!

We are sending this post out to start a new call to action with anyone who can help with offering a room to rent with conditions/expectations that are boundary-orientated so people can thrive and get back on their feet. Please share our page. Post what you have available. Stipulate your conditions, communicate and be transparent so the best outcomes for all can be achieved in a housing environment.

We are accountable here and responsible for who connects with our community so please if there are ever concerns or red flags our administration team is here to assist, support and help.

If anyone has a room, unit, bungalow, apartment or house to rent please post on this page as it is for everyone purely on the Peninsula looking for rentals. From Portsea to Mornington - front and back beaches. If you have from Mornington to Seaford we will accept those areas and in between.

Hi Community,

This post is specifically for a Female Tenant 2023.

I have a room to rent in a relaxed home and on a quiet street - available now. The room is freshly painted and renovated.

Weekly rent is $250 and includes all bills and internet.

You will have:
- Your own room with the privacy of door lock and wardrobe.
- Private ensuite - shower, vanity and toilet.
- Furnish your own room and how you want it to feel/look.
- Bills includes: internet, gas, water and electricity.
- Access to the kitchen, dining area and lounge room with television (shared spaces).
- You will have access to secure parking in the drive way, with a fence to ensure privacy.
- Outdoor patio with beautiful nature and the morning sun where you can relax with breakfast and a beverage or in the afternoon after a day of working hard or unwinding at the end of the week.
- If you have items you need to stored (within the space parameters) I will make room in the garage.
- You will be close to local shops, shopping centres, train stations and buses are frequent. The M11 is 5 minutes around the corner to go either to the peninsula or the other direction to the city.
- Beaches are no longer than a 10-minute drive.
- There is an amazing Nature Reserve if you enjoy walking, need space to clear your mind and would love to see the diverse Australian wildlife. There are panoramic views of Melbourne City and the Dandenong Ranges. It is truly spectacular!

The Tenant:
- Female
- Christian Faith
- Working professional or secure employment
- Healthy life style (no smoking and no alcohol)
- Responsible and trustworthy
- No pets (sorry)

To move in:
- Tenant to provide 2 x referees, whom I can contact.
- Bond is $1250 (one month and one week’s rent).
- Rent is paid into a designated bank account (weekly or fortnightly).
- Sign the tenant agreement form with conditions and expectations of renting.
- Arrangements for period of renting – no less than 6 months. Tennant can decide what is suitable for their individual situation (short term or long term).

A Happy Home:
- Respectful behaviours and accountability.
- Boundaries and honest communication.
- Solution focused (with noise, schedules, parking etc).

1. 3 bedroom home (single level)
2. A spacious living area
3. Decent kitchen
4. Low maintenance yard
5. Preferably a closed in garage
6. Good structure/foundations of the house (with character or modern)

The renter is flexible in her price $350-$400 (maximum $450 if the property is up to a great standard and condition) Person is looking to inspect a property suitable and immediately.

Hey everyone 😊 **Urgent** We have an amazing mum of 3 who needs to move as her rental is on the market. We need a 3-4 bedroom house between crib point and Frankston my lease. Her budget is up to aprox $340-$380. The pets are 1 dog and 2 kittens whom are all house trained and we'll behaved. This mum is doing her best to find a home for herself and her children.
