Over recent weeks, as much of NSW faced significant fire behaviour, FSC volunteers answered the call. 🔥
Firefighters, Divisional Commanders and Communications Operators deployed to support colleagues and protect communities.

🔥 Tomorrow – Thursday 18 December 2025 – Fire Danger Rating: HIGH 🔥

Fire permits will be suspended for 24 hours from midnight.

🚒 Revised Fire Danger Rating for the Far South Coast Today (Wednesday 26th November 2025) is MODERATE 🚒

Conditions elsewhere in the state remain heightened, with our dedicated firefighters remaining ready to assist when called upon.

This Saturday the 4th of October at the Moruya markets, we will be hosting our Get Ready weekend. We invite everyone from the community to come down and say hi. Our incredible volunteers will be there to answer any questions you may have to prepare for a bush fire. We look forward to seeing you there. 🔥

Tonight, Moruya & Bingie brigade undertook pile burns to happily assist a local landholder to manage their fire risk. We would like to thank all members involved and the landholder for assisting in the burns.🔥
