The SA Shotclock WILL RETURN for another week including the latest on SA’s local basketball leagues including NBL1 Central and the free agency of the NBL & WNBL

Here's the tips for the final minor round Saturday night of the NBL1 Central - with a couple of key numbers to keep in mind heading into tonight

*Womens*

STS VS WAB (6:00 SBK) 9-5 (14) - The Bearcats snapped the Sabres grasp on them in their last meeting having the wood on them since the NBL1 Central in 2022 Grand Final - Sabres have won 7 of last 8 meetings including the OT Semi-Final last season - The margin has been an average of 5.4 points - the Bearcats have not won at Springbank since 2021 losing five in a row at the venue

- Nicola Mathews has hit the game winner the last two meetings at Springbank

EAM VS SAP (6:30 STF) 0-11 (11) - Plenty of crossover between these teams but the Panthers hold the dominance over the Mavs having not lost to them since 2019 - they are currently on a 12 game winning streak - the margin has been close in recent times

FOR VS NAR (6:15 SBC) 11-2 (13) - A grudge match to close the season - the Eagles have won five of the last six and nine of the last ten - North have only beaten them at Wayville once in 2021 in the elimination final - the margin has only been single digits twice

NWD vs CDL (6:30 STAR) 4-7 (11) - Things have changed a lot between these two with the Lions winning four of the last six against the Flames - Flames have not won at the Den since 2023  - margin has only been single digits two times

Here's the tips for the final minor round Saturday night of the NBL1 Central - with a couple of key numbers to keep in mind heading into tonight

*Mens*

STS VS WAB (7:45 SBK) 6-7 (13) - The two teams have played OT against each other two times with it 1-1 in those scenarios - Sabres have won four of the last five against Bearcats

EAM VS SAP (8:00 STF) 1-10 (10) - While Mavs missed their opportunity to be in the finals race last weekend - they can still take a seventh win for the season after finishing with six wins in their previous two seasons - they have not had seven or more in a season since pre 2010

FOR VS NAR (8:00 SBC) 9-3 (12) - The Eagles have dominated since the championship year of the Rockets in 2021 - they’ve won eight of the last nine meetings with the Rockets winning 102-97 at Lights in an upset in 2023 - it doesn’t blow out much between these two with the margin 11 or less at least five times

CDL VS NWD (8:15 STAR) 6-5 (11) - The Flames can take revenge after blowing their last meeting but haven’t beaten the Lions since 2023 - Norwood haven’t won at Starplex against them since 2023 (83-92)

The SA Shotclock is back for another week including the latest on SA’s local basketball leagues including NBL1 Central and the off season of the NBL & WNBL season.

With First Nations Round ahead of us these next two weeks in the NBL1 Central one of the rising indigenous talents of the league AMBAH KOWCUN 👑💘🦋 joins us on the show - originally a Forestville Eagle junior who took the college path playing at North Dakota State College of Science, Wichita State Athletics before finishing her graduate year at the Eastern Kentucky Colonels in 2025 - she was swooped on by the Woodville Warriors District Basketball Club helping guide the Warriors to an inaugural championship last season.

TP and Ambah chat culture, basketball life from Northern Australia and the transitions of environment over the last decade culminating in an important role with the Woodville Warriors at the back end of the NBL1 Central season.

Plus we review double header in the Round 13 in the Mitsubishi Motors NBL1 Central and preview Round 14 plus with 6 teams in Womens and 8 in Mens still able to make finals - TP has the lowdown on how any of these teams can make it to the final five and finals for 2026.

TP is joined by regular co-host Jarryd Hoppo to run through the SA Shotclock All-Star Weekend for its fourth season - where based on the first half of the season we select four conference teams from both North and South based teams in Womens and Mens that we'd love to see play each other plus some extra fantasy teams we'd like to play exhibition games.

Who made it in, who returns and who just missed out are all covered in the hotly anticipated debate before TP gives us his predictions for Round 11
