Happy Monday everyone. As you know Dona has been away for the past week enjoying tropical Bali. When there she went and met up with an English lady that runs and organisation called Sole Family. This organisation looks after the disabled Balinese that cannot get any assistance. Both my girls took some much needed supplies with them that is difficult or too expensive to get in Bali. Dona did a short interview with this lady which she will play tomorrow morning at 0945. Have a listen and hear what remarkable work this organistaion is doing.

Hey folks, big news. I have spoken on air about a film, The First Hymn, that was written 1800 years ago. Australian Professor John Dickson put together a movie about the discovery of the papyrus that had words and music written on it. Chris Tomlin and Ben Fielding then put it all together and recorded it. Well, the Oatmill Cinema Complex will be showing this movie for a limited time, starting tomorrow, August 1. The movie will be shown at 1:10pm on Friday, 1:20 pm on Sunday, Monday, at 3:15 pm, Tuesday, at 10:45, and Wednesday, at 4:55 pm.. Happy Friday, everyone. I pray that you are staying dry. It is rather wet on the roads, so if you are going out, please drive carefully. Just a thought to end the week off. Shane and Shane have a song titled, I am fighting battles you have already won. Maybe that is you today. Just remember, we know the end of the story. Finally RIP to the Hulkster. I watched him wrestle many times, but last year he made the decision to make Jesus his lord and saviour, the best decision of his life. God bless everyone, have a great weekend.

Check this out. Dona and I went to station sponsor the Post and Rail in Penola for lunch yesterday. Chicken and Leek Pie with salad, homemade relish, and a frittata with salad and homemade relish. We even tried the Vanilla Slice, and they were all just yum. Make your way to Penola and support Cindy. She has now set up her business in the Old Cobb and CO building. They are open Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.
