Hey everyone!! Now that we’ve had a few days to bask in the glory of what an absolute day and a half Saturday was, it’s time to throw some love to masses of awesome local people that we truly couldn’t have done this without! 🤘
First things first, a massive, MASSIVE hats off to our major sponsors Teagle Excavations, and Culberra Lake Storage Sheds! We’re so appreciative of these legends being involved, and for the second year in a row too!
Next up, could you please give it up for our truly incredible lineup featuring Stephen Esnouf Music, Wilson Street, Alison Newman - Vocalist, stonewallsband, Fat Pony, In the Kitchen, Jimi Top, Just A Band, Stokes, and Low Expectations! How lucky are we to have such a talented array of artists in our own backyard, and let me tell you this, what you saw is just the tip of the iceberg! The Limestone Coast music scene is growing almost daily, and we’re all so so privileged to be a part of it! 💪
However, theres two people who were working non stop all day keeping our artists sounding and looking as great as they did! Of course I’m talking about the incredible Taylor Fry and Marcus Jones from TJF Audio! Absolute masters of their craft who have always supported everything we do! Honestly, where would we be without these deadset masterminds!
Along with Taylor and Marcus, we’ve gotta give a big shout out to Bunny, Ivan Heenan, and Smith Adam for helping supply backline for all of our acts to use! Speaking of backline, did you see the awesome Rock on the Rails drumskin that we had for the very first time? That was hand painted by the extremely skilled Gemma Bull, how lucky are we to be surrounded by such talented creatives!
Another addition to this year’s event was our official photographer, Kira Hooper from kira with the camera! You’ve probably seen Kira waving her camera around at many awesome shows by now, so next time you do, give her some props because she is absolutely killing it!
Next up, what’s a music festival without some high quality food to eat and drinks to drink! Put your hands together for our amazing food and drink vendors Grand Hotel - Millicent, Wild Game Wine, Happi Belli, Millicent Lions Club, Hot Jam Donuts, Rivoli Bay Burgers, Joanne's Espresso Express, Southern Hotdogs, and Spiral Spuds!
For the first time ever, we had the privilege of having The Golden Needle Tattoo and Piercing Parlour be a part of our event! Tattoos and rock n roll have always been hand in hand, so it was an honour to have Golden Needle on board! Did you get a tattoo on the day? If so, drop a pic in the comments!! ⬇
I’m sure we were all blown away by the community support on display, however no matter what meets the eye, there is always a massive crew working behind the scenes to keep things as smooth as possible! For that reason, can we all please show some massive love to Don Stewart septic tank cleaning, C**kys Signs, Reilly’s Builders, Stef’s Transport and 3MP, The Wattle Range Council, Millicent Bottle and Can Centre, Mossop Construction, Dennis Muhovics, Lonergan and Muhovics, Colin from the Millicent Show - AH&P Society, Matt from Iberdrolla, and of course the board of 5THE FM Millicent and all of the incredible volunteers who kept their hands busy and showed such incredible support on the day!
On a more personal note, we could go on for hours thanking all the incredible acts, staff, community groups and the like, but there is one man who has spearheaded this event stronger than anyone from day one. He is the man who, above all else, truly makes it all happen. A man who’s dedication to Rock on the Rails and love for what we have crafted knows no bounds. It’s a privilege of ours to be able to work aside him, and even more of a privilege to call him a friend! Would you please give it up for Chris "Cutthroat” Copeland!! No matter what, he is the man who we truly wouldn’t have this festival without, and I think it goes without saying that after the growth this event has experienced, every artist, staff member, concert goer and music lover of the South East owes Chris as much gratitude as is possible!
Rock on the Rails 2025 - another roaring success! 🔥
Millicent and surrounds, we love you! 🫶
