HORNSBY SHIRE GM RESIGNS

Following his recent return from long service leave, Steven Head, General Manager of Hornsby Shire Council, has made the difficult decision to resign from his employment.
Steven Head was appointed as General Manager by Council on 26 February 2018. He brought extensive expertise in infrastructure and strategic management within local government to Hornsby Council. Steven served during times of serious challenges including navigating COVID, relocation of staff during asbestos treatment of the council administration buildings and the shire boundary adjustment with the City of Parramatta.
Hornsby Council will now seek to employ a new General Manager.

Where will you and your family go to stay safe?

You might not all be together when you need to leave, so plan a safe meeting place.

And don’t forget your pets — make sure your destination can accommodate them, too.
