Every report card I got as a kid had some version of:

“Very talkative.”
“Talks too much.”
“Disrupts the class by talking.”

One teacher even told me she just hoped my talkativeness would help me one day instead of getting me into trouble. 😂

Well… turns out, it did.

I literally get paid to talk now.

I talk to business owners about their tech, ask a million questions, give advice, explain things, speak at workshops and somehow that very talkative little girl grew up and built her own little systems consultancy business, in a foreign country, she now calls home.

Funny how the things you’re told to tone down when you’re younger can end up becoming one of your biggest strengths.

You might not need to become less of it.

You might just need to find the place where it becomes your thing.

Anyway… sorry to all my teachers.

Turns out I did not, in fact, learn to talk less. 😂🌼

Always such a good time working with Macie from Macie Marcial Photography. 🤎

Two Filipinas from the beautiful chaos of Metro Manila, somehow finding each other all the way out here in regional NSW. 🇵🇭

There’s something extra nice about working with someone who gets the culture, the humour and the random Tagalog mid-conversation. 😂

From Manila traffic to country roads… look at us, Macie. 🤎✨

This Saturday I’ll be at AI Confidence in a Day as the MC + Tech Support! 🎤💻

Which means I’ll be helping keep the day running, chatting away on the mic (I’ll try to be funny!) and being the person you come and find when your laptop decides to have a meltdown potentially while also having a baby on the hip. 😂

This one is actually pretty exciting for me because tech has been my world for a LOOOOONG time.

I’ve worked in IT for more than 10 years: project management, web quality assurance, computer technician, software development… A.K.A I’ve done a bit of everything.

I’m from the era of converting binary codes to alphanumeric and building an ecommerce website using WINDOWS NOTEPAD. 😬

And now we’re here… telling AI to build things for us in 30 seconds.

W-I-L-D.

These days, I work as a Digital Operations Consultant, helping small businesses figure out all the techy bits behind their business: websites, systems, courses, emails, automations, platforms and where you start and how far you go. So being part of a day that’s all about helping people feel more confident with technology feels pretty bloody fitting.

I’ll be there all day, so please come say hi! Ask me questions. Show me the thing that’s not working. Pick my brain or just come have a chat and if you want to know what I do without AI involved, ask me about that too! AI is only one part of a VERY big tech world and I could talk about this stuff all day. 😂

ALSOOOO…

I have a little surprise for 3 people attending the workshop. 👀🌼

I’ll be gifting THREE of my 60-minute Tech Consultations, valued at $349 each.

More details on that one, ON THE DAY!

Before I went on maternity leave, I had two options:

Outsource my client work and keep Office Daisy running in the background…
or actually pause.

I chose to pause. Completely.

Because I know myself 😂

Think about it like client work. If you’re unavailable and hand a project over to someone else, even when you trust them, there’s still that little part of your brain going…

Was it done? Is the client happy? Was it done the way I would’ve done it? Do I need to check anything?

And suddenly you’re not really on leave, are you?

One of the biggest things I’ve learnt since starting my business is that I don’t like spreading myself thin.

I’d rather prioritise the work in front of me, take on fewer projects and do them properly than be completely booked out and rushing from one thing to another.

So I decided to apply the same thinking to maternity leave.

My priority was my family.

It was recovering physically. Looking after myself mentally. Being present with my new baby and enjoying those first few weeks without client deadlines sitting somewhere in the back of my head.

And I’m SO glad I did.

Having that proper break has actually given me a much clearer perspective on what I want next — personally and in business.

Turns out stepping away for a bit didn’t make me care less about my business.

It made me much more intentional about how I want to run it.

So as I slowly make my way back, I’m bringing that same approach with me:

Less rushing.
Less spreading myself thin.
More focused, quality work.

So if you’re looking for someone to help sort out and manage the digital operations behind your business — without feeling like you’re being squeezed between 15 other projects — let’s chat. 🌼

If you’ve quietly admitted (or fully said out loud 😅) that you’re hopeless at tech… and then my reel popped up on your feed….

I’d say that’s your sign.

You don’t have to keep pushing through it on your own or avoiding the backend of your business. Tech isn’t something you’re either “good” or “bad” at. It’s just something you haven’t been shown properly yet.

I’ll guide you, lead you, and meet you exactly where you’re at — whether you’re brand new or a few years in and just need things structured properly.

Comment “APPLY” and I will send you the application form 🌼
