Ahead of the first A Grade game this weekend we’d like to extend a very warm welcome to Sam Teakle and Nick Williams who will both make their club debuts in Round One.

Sam has had the past few seasons off cricket while studying his CPA but was previously playing down at Sturt. A stylish left hand, top order batsman who will be a great addition to our A Grade playing group.

Nick joins the club from Nairne and is now living and working in Strath so has decided to play locally this season. Nick is a left arm wrist spinner who bowls with great control and he will add diversity to the bowling ranks.

We start with Ben Clifford, who had an outstanding back half of the 2025 season.
Cliff found his role as a creative defender and took out the Rising Star award at our recent presentation night.
He's also a great clubman and he and his partner Ara, who joined the netball team, have been great additions to the PFNC family.

A tall target who gives our midfielders first use of the footy and makes his presence known from the first bounce. On top of that, he brings an infectious energy and he’s the kind of character every club wants around!

After spending his entire career at Rosewater, Locklyn has made the move to the Nest in 2026. With strong ties to plenty of Hawks already, it feels like a perfect fit.

He’s a courageous player who reads the ball brilliantly, uses it beautifully, and isn’t afraid to put his body on the line.
