The annual 'Bust the Dust' campaign will see NSW EPA Officers out in force using drones and conducting unannounced inspections to ensure air quality compliance by mines across the Hunter.

Stricter fines will be given this year if mines are failing to comply. $30,000 for a first offence, and $45,000 for subsequent breaches.
