Cliche as it may sound, but its true “kids grow up so fast”

Tomorrow the boy that made me a mum will turn 11, and tonight as I checked my FB memories I saw this post I made 5 years ago. It says that at school drop off i forgot to give him a kiss and cuddle because i was in a rush to chase his little brother who was running away towards the gate. And so he chased me and told me that I didn’t kiss and hug him😍🥰.
Fast forward to today and he doesn’t let me kiss and hug him on school drop offs anymore. I mean he still lets me but only at home or in the car before they go out and when no one can see because “Mum it’s embarrassing!!!”🙄😏😅. But I understand and I know it was coming, just didn’t predict it’s going to be this soon, I thought I still had a couple more years😩.

So to all mums or parents out there with little one, please make the most of their innocent days, when the need your attention and your presence and your hugs and kisses, be present and cherish every moment because it’s true “kids grow up so fast, blink and they are not so little anymore”
