Rock Is Not Dead continues to evolve after every festival.
Our goal has always been simple: bring the best independent Australian rock artists to our supporters, create a positive experience, and continue growing into a unique and amazing event.
As our festival community has grown, we’ve noticed that many of our supporters are 45 years and older. Like many of you, we’re not getting any younger, so we’re always looking at ways to make the festival experience more enjoyable and easier on the body while still delivering great value and great music.
With that in mind, we’re looking at moving future Rock Is Not Dead events to a two-day festival format.
The concept would be:
• 4 bands on Friday night
• 4 to 5 bands on Saturday night
• A headline act each night
This format would give supporters the flexibility to attend one night or both nights, while also reducing the length of each session. Instead of a single day featuring 8–10 bands, attendees can enjoy a more relaxed experience with shorter days and more time to enjoy the music, venue, and atmosphere.
As always, our aim is to develop, improve, and grow with every event while continuing to support Australian rock music and the incredible artists who keep the scene alive.
We’d love to hear your thoughts. Would you prefer a two-day format? What would make the experience even better for you?
Feedback is encouraged and appreciated.
