Original artwork by Australian artists is used as the basis for each visual product. Wild Eyed Press' dynamic team aims to promote Australia's wildlife through the publication and distribution of these products. We encourage public awareness, knowledge and concern for Australian fauna and the sustainability of their fragile habitats. We produce children's books, book-marks, greeting cards, and many other beautiful products.

Yay! Wild Eyed Press is celebrating their 2025 New Books. We'll be having the book party on Sunday 16th March 10 am, at the Scarborough Beach Community Centre on the beach front. Look for the Activity Room, above Dome Cafe.
We'd love you to come and help us celebrate. You will be treated to whale songs, the sound of the waves, readings and some emu and dolphins mayhem.

2021 Speech Pathology Book Awards Shortlist. Congratulations Steve Heron and Matty Mitchell for Where Ya Goin' being shortlisted for the 2021 Speech Pathology Book Awards. published by Wild Eyed Press. Fantastic news, and so well deserved.
This book is so much fun. written in common 'slanguage', Where Ya Goin is a counting book with a few twists. Along their journey this group of Aussie Animal friends learn how to include, support and have fun together as a friendship group.

It’s a 10 Year Birthday! The first books were published by Wild Eyed Press in 2011. ‘William the Wild’ ‘An All Australian Animal Alphabet Book’ ‘Merindah and Lucky’ ‘He’s My Dad’. These books have crept into the hearts of children all over Australia.

Beautiful illustration by Rebecca Cool, who has an exhibition on her property for Margaret River Open Studios at the moment. This quirky story, written by Sian Turner , is a modern Austrlalian take on Red Riding Hood, includes not a wolf but a crocodile, a group of Aussie animal friends and ends with Grandma's barbecue.

Children's picture book portfolios are out on display in my studio, part of the Blackwood River Art Trail exhibition. Have had lots of kids, as well as interested parents and teachers holidaying in Nannup. Something fun to chat to the kids about as their parents spend time in the gallery looking at the fine art paintings. Always exciting to talk to a child who already knows the books and has their own tale to tell of camping, hiking, building cubbies or other nature play.
