Last day of term :)

Don't forget to call in to get the kids some extra books to read for the holidays.
When the weather is good I will have extra books and trolleys out. When it's not the fridge can still be accessed (please just close the door afterwards)

Super Spring Sunday 🌞
I have just pulled out a couple of trolleys of books - so there is a MASSIVE selection of all genres for all ages.

Come and visit today and take a book (or 10)

There is a bus stop right out the front too - so take advantage of the new timetable which starts today :)

To whoever left the message in the visitors book requesting Baby Sitters Club or Percy Jackson I do have a couple of Baby Sitter's Club in the Garage - I will get them out. If you knock on the door I will show you :)

Thanks to the people who drop in a bag of bottles/cans for recycling. Every bit collected goes back into the library - tubs, picnic blankets to protect the books, some extra food for the pantry and recently some potting mix to get the herb garden set up. There is a tub near the fridge for donations.

I have just put out a stack of herbs.
Basil
Rosemary
Italian flat leaf parsley.

I have labelled the basil and parsley.

If it goes there is heaps more i can add.

Come and get a bunch if you need any. I have put some small bags under one of the containers :)

These lovely little recipe book collections were donated yesterday. They are currently in the adult fridge.

The sun is lovely this afternoon. Both fridges are open and the extra kids trolley is by the front door.
Here are 2 Shelfies from the adult fridge.
Also a new little surprise box for the young amongst us (or young at heart)

Currently in the library...

A shelf especially for large print books. These are very popular and get exchanged all the time.
If you happen to donate any large print books if you can put a sticker on the spine it makes them easy to distinguish :)

I also have an area in the door for Australian authors or books set in the bush/outback etc. Another really popular area.

I just took out and replaced lots of books from the library.
The top two shelves are neatly stacked with lots of books ready to find new homes.
I will get through the rest in the next couple of days.
Now there are a couple of local street libraries I will be stamping many of the books. It will be interesting to see how far the books travel :)

It's a lovely day for a walk - why not stop in at the street library?

There is a huge range of books, puzzles, games, DVDs and more for all ages.

The fresh food tub by the letterbox has silverbeet and a range of herbs (donations are always appreciated)

There is some tinned/packet foods near the drawers next to the fridge

There are a couple of toys/balls for the 4 legged friends too :)
