Big Tuna emptying its guts like Chezz after a night on the cab sav 🍷 It’s unreal to watch these things bucket mouth whitebait on the surface… to then have it turn around and annihilate a popper was even better.

From topwater YFT, to the estuary. They can’t always be big and bad. An arvo wading the flats with the flick sticks is as good as any other session in the boat or off the stones, and a good change of pace. No PB’s but frothing regardless 🙌🏼

Not only the biggest fish we’ve filleted, but hands down one of the most memorable trips. 40 hour round trip, 1000km in the car, 225km in the boat. 3 from 6 off the top. Lost some gear to the ocean, but once the beers were cracked and we started knocking the fillets off these big YFT, it didn’t seem all that bad. Moments like this make the chaos worth it. 🍻

The master and the apprentice. Lucky enough to kick it with the best of them.
Beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to experience this sort of stuff and learn what it takes to chase these magnificent fish. These guys are masters of their craft. Extremely thankful! 🙏🏼
