MRS Flanders is breathing easier, and so is her trainer Kerry Parker Racing.

The multiple Group 1 winning Kembla Grange Racecourse horseman heads to Hawkesbury Race Club Limited tomorrow chasing a hat-trick with the mare in the Blakes Marine Midway Benchmark 64 Handicap (1100m).

Mrs Flanders, a four-year-old daughter of Anders, cost Tricolours Racing $60,000 as a 2024 Inglis Classic yearling, and had trialled on six occasions for a major Sydney stable without going to the races before being transferred to her new trainer last year. DUAL entry Tenenbaum will tackle the Ming Dynasty Quality at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday as he seeks to add black type to his resume.

Leading Hawkesbury Race Club Limited trainer Brad Widdup Racing nominated the beautifully-bred c**t for both the Group 2 Run To The Rose (1200m) and Group 3 Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m), and favours the latter.

And jockey Chad Schofield has told Widdup he will ride Tenenbaum at his allotted 54kg. Read More ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ“ธ Bradley_Photos https://www.provincialracingnsw.com.au/post/tenenbaum-heads-for-ming-dynasty-and-not-run-to-the-rose

Hawkesbury Race Club Limited annual Country Music raceday has hit new heights.

Not even a freakish windstorm late in the afternoon could spoil a record 4500 crowd last Saturday.

โ€œIt was clearly our biggest attendance at the Country Music meeting which was introduced only a few years ago,โ€ Hawkesbury Race Club chief executive Lea Porteous said yesterday. Read More ๐Ÿ‘‡ https://www.provincialracingnsw.com.au/post/hawkesbury-s-country-music-raceday-a-hoot

FABIO Martino had no regrets.

The Hawkesbury Race Club Limited trainer could have taken All Star to town on Saturday for a Midway Benchmark 72 Handicap (1400m) at Royal Randwick, but chose to stay at home for a Midway Benchmark 68 Handicap at the same distance.

It worked out well with the beautifully bred four-year-old staging a last to first performance in leading home an all-provincial finish. Read More ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ“ธ Bradley_Photos https://www.provincialracingnsw.com.au/post/martino-doing-a-great-job-with-sydney-discard

LUKE Price left home on Saturday confident a resuming Our Noble Boy would run very well at Hawkesbury Race Club Limited.

And the lightly-raced three-year-old didnโ€™t let him down.

Ridden by Jean Van Overmeire, $13 chance Our Noble Boy broke through in the Super Maiden Handicap (1000m), easily running down leading Newcastle trainer Kris Leesโ€™ well backed $2.10 favorite Spice Trail. CHANGINGOFTHEGUARD will be the first Sydney Cup winner in two decades to contest the Newcastle Racecourse Gold Cup in the same year.

Leading Newcastle trainer Kris Lees Racing has announced the $300,000 Gold Cup (2300m) at Broadmeadow on Friday week as the importโ€™s next target.

It was Lees in fact who had the last horse to attempt to complete the Sydney Cup โ€“ Newcastle Cup double in the same year, though not in the same season. Read More ๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿ“ธ Bradley_Photos https://www.provincialracingnsw.com.au/post/sydney-cup-winner-to-chase-newcastle-gold-cup-double

JOE Ible says he will have to rethink a spring program for a young horse who is well and truly putting the little village he is named after on the map.

The Kembla Grange Racecourse trainer was rapt with lightly-raced Barrengarry ($5.50), who made a brilliant return at Royal Randwick on Saturday in the Midway Benchmark 72 Handicap (1400m).

Ridden by Zac Lloyd, the four-year-old son of Ghaiyyath drew the outside barrier, never saw the inside rail and still finished off with style to take his record to three wins from only six starts.
